What is ADHD?
ADHD is a unique brain wiring and way of thinking that comes with both strengths and challenges. Rather than a lack of attention, it involves difficulty in regulating focus, making it easier to concentrate on engaging with some tasks while struggling with others that seem uninteresting.
It is often associated with a highly active and creative mind, but managing impulses and organisation can be challenging. When properly understood and supported, ADHD can be a source of remarkable energy, innovation, and enthusiasm rather than a limitation.

I used to work in film/TV design, then as a PA. I have 2 teenage sons; the youngest one, now 13, was diagnosed with ADHD aged 8, and I have been passionate about helping him through school and beyond.
As part of this journey, the realisation that I also have ADHD has been a huge turning point and given me an incredible insight into my own life. Throughout my life, I have always had a feeling of not reaching my full potential.
However, now through my own journey of self-realisation and understanding of how my ADHD has shown up in my life I have gained a new and confident awareness. This has given me the inspiration to engage my natural strengths and skills and redirect them into something I feel truly passionate about which is helping others through ADHD coaching.
I trained at ADDCA, the internationally renowned ADHD coaching academy in New York, and currently work with adults. I am now taking further specialist training to become a children and families coach.
In my spare time, I love Pilates, knitting, bread-making, seeing my friends and hanging out with my family. We spend a lot of time in North Cornwall where you might find me in a wetsuit trying to stay on my surfboard!
